AgeSin® DF-D9698 is a polyether-modified silicone defoamer specifically designed for latex and waterborne systems. It combines the powerful foam-breaking performance of silicone-based defoamers with the excellent compatibility of non-silicone defoamers, making it suitable for a wide range of waterborne formulations. The product provides long-lasting defoaming effectiveness and good system stability,can be used as the alternative to Tego Foamex 1488.

AgeSin® DF-D9698 is a polyether-modified silicone defoamer specifically designed for latex and waterborne systems. It combines the powerful foam-breaking performance of silicone-based defoamers with the excellent compatibility of non-silicone defoamers, making it suitable for a wide range of waterborne formulations. The product provides long-lasting defoaming effectiveness and good system stability.

Properties :

Application :

Incorporation :
  • Can be added directly during production, or pre-dispersed before use.

  • For paint production, it is recommended to add 50% of the total dosage before grinding, and the remaining 50% after grinding.

Recommended Dosage :

0.2 – 0.5% based on total formulation. This level is generally sufficient to effectively eliminate foam and prevent its re-formation. Optimal dosage should be determined through laboratory testing.


Packaging & Storage :
  • Packaging: Available in 25 kg,50kg and 200 kg drums.

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place in the original, tightly sealed container. Protect from direct sunlight, heat sources, and frost.

  • Shelf Life: 12 months when stored under recommended conditions.
