Synocat® T-420 DBTO (Dibutyltin Oxide) is a white granular powder with a high melting point (>300°C). It is primarily used as a key intermediate for synthesizing various dibutyltin-based heat stabilizers, such as dibutyltin dilaurate and dibutyltin maleate. It also finds applications as a catalyst in polyurethane systems, esterification reactions, and electrodeposition coatings. Its low solubility in water and organic solvents necessitates its use in specific reactive processes.
