Sinepoxy®CA-HC1080 EL is a heat-initiated cationic curing agent based on blocked hexafluoroantimonate. It exhibits very fast initiation speed with cycloaliphatic epoxy resins and can also initiate the curing reaction of glycidyl ethers, glycidyl esters, etc. Compared with tertiary amine anionic initiators, formulations using this curing agent produce cured materials with lower shrinkage, better yellowing resistance, fuller and more glossy films.specifically suitable for replacing K-PURE® CXC-1612.

General information:

Sinepoxy®CA-HC1080 EL is a heat-initiated cationic curing agent based on blocked hexafluoroantimonate. It exhibits very fast initiation speed with cycloaliphatic epoxy resins and can also initiate the curing reaction of glycidyl ethers, glycidyl esters, etc. Compared with tertiary amine anionic initiators, formulations using this curing agent produce cured materials with lower shrinkage, better yellowing resistance, fuller and more glossy films.specifically suitable for replacing K-PURE® CXC-1612.

80 °C (for cycloaliphatic epoxy)


Features :
  • Electronic grade, free of heavy metal ions, low free acid and total chlorine content.

  • Initiates curing of cycloaliphatic epoxy resins at 80 °C; curing speed is relatively easy to control.

  • Low dosage, only 0.1–3.0% (wt) of epoxy resin.

  • Enables deep-section/thick-film curing.

  • Low curing shrinkage, no volatiles, good toughness of cured product, can achieve colorless transparency and no yellowing.

  • Note: The resin used should not contain high levels of impurities. Must not be used simultaneously with amines or other alkaline substances.
