AgeSin® RA-FR06 is a very active reducing agent, which forms a redox reaction system with peroxides such as ammonium persulfate and tert-butyl hydroperoxide, and is used in emulsion systems through free radical polymerization. AgeSin® RA-FR06 is a sodium salt of an organic sulfinic acid derivative.
● Improve the reaction activity, reduce the residual amount of monomers, and have an oxygen-inhibiting effect,can eliminate stripping process under certain condition.
● No formaldehyde is produced, and the only byproducts after the reaction are salts and carbon dioxide.
● When used in conjunction with hydrogen peroxide, it will not produce VOCS problems such as butanol and acetone (reduce the VOC produced by tert-butyl hydroperoxide).
● It can increase the whiteness of the emulsion and film, and the polymer film-forming material will not turn yellow after the reaction.

Applied to post-treatment of emulsion polymerization systems such as acrylic acid, VAE and styrene-butadiene to eliminate residual monomers, and can eliminate stripping process under certain condition.

The recommended addition amount is 0.03-0.3%.
