SINOMER® 2-OA (2-Octyl Acrylate, CAS 42928-85-8) is a bio-based monofunctional acrylate monomer with a branched C8 alkyl structure. It is derived from renewable feedstocks (2-octanol from castor oil) and contains approximately 70% bio-based carbon content. The monomer offers low viscosity, low odor, and low skin irritation, making it suitable for coatings, adhesives, sealants, and UV/EB curing systems.
