General Introduction

AgeSin® AG‑X7710 CLUV and AG‑X7720 CLUV are radiation‑curable, reactive silicone additives with acrylate functional groups. They chemically bond into UV coating networks, providing permanent easy‑clean and anti‑graffiti properties without compromising cure speed. Both are 100% active, solvent‑free, and designed for UV curing systems.


However, they serve different formulation needs. One is engineered for high‑gloss clear coats where transparency is critical. The other is built for matte and low‑gloss systems where maximum stain blocking is required – even at the cost of clarity.


AgeSin® AG-X7710 CLUV – For High‑Gloss Clear Coats

Best for: UV high‑gloss varnishes, topcoats, and easy‑clean coatings where appearance matters most.


AG‑X7710 provides an excellent balance of clarity, stain resistance, and surface protection. It maintains outstanding film transparency (rated 5/5), good hydrophobicity and oil repellency, and moderate anti‑blocking. It also improves substrate wetting and reduces surface friction.

AgeSin® AG-X7720 CLUV – For Matte & Low‑Gloss Systems

Best for: Matte coatings, textured finishes, and heavy‑duty anti‑graffiti applications where clarity is not a requirement.


AG‑X7720 is the heavy‑duty version specifically recommended for matte or low‑gloss systems. It delivers superior stain resistance (5/5) and excellent anti‑blocking (5/5), making it extremely effective against permanent markers, inks, and aggressive contaminants. Because it reduces clarity, it should not be used in clear, high‑gloss coatings – but in matte formulations, this trade‑off is perfectly acceptable in exchange for maximum foul release.

For matte systems using AG‑X7720, replace the anti‑graffiti additive accordingly. Clarity is not a concern in matte formulations.


Incorporation Guidelines

  • For easier mixing, pre‑dilute with a solvent from your coating or ink system before adding.
