UV Absorption Spectrum :
In the figure, the absorption spectra of the photoinitiators camphorquinone (Sinocure CQ), 1-phenyl-1,2-propanedione (Sinocure PPD), az and the emission spectra of two light curing lamps. The absorption peak of camphorquinone is about 468 nm.
Applications:
- In the field of medicine, it is used as a high-efficiency and low-toxic photosensitizer for the manufacture of acrylic lenses, dental fillings, dental enamel repair agents, dental adhesives, surgical moldings, medical plasters, etc.
- In the industrial field, camphorquinone is used in the electronics industry to manufacture printed circuit boards, sealing insulators for optoelectronic devices, developing materials, recording media for holography and printing, copying, faxing and other equipment, as well as photopolymerization catalysts.
- It can also be used to make photodegradable ethylene polymers. This is obviously also very problematic for alleviating environmental pollution.
